Isabela González, BA
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR I
Isabela began working with the MAPP Lab in December 2023 as a Clinical Research Coordinator and currently contributes part-time, assisting with MRI acquisition and data analysis. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and minor in Nutrition and Health Promotion from the University of Southern California in 2023, where she was a research assistant for the Braskie Research Group at the USC Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute. She is interested in determining preclinical biomarkers of Alzheimer’s Disease and examining neuroimaging data. In her free time, Isabela enjoys spending time with family, hiking with her dog, trying new recipes, and reading with her cats.


Lusiana Martínez, BS
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR II
Lusiana joined the MAPP Lab in August 2023 as a bilingual Clinical Research Coordinator. She earned her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Marine Biology from the University of North Florida in 2023, where she conducted research in environmental toxicology. In 2024, she began pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH), with academic interests in healthy aging, environmental risk factors, and public health. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new foods, discovering new places, crafting and staying active.
Randy Medrano, BS
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR I
In June 2024, Randy began working as a Bilingual Clinical Research Coordinator with the MAPP Lab and currently supports the Boston Latino Aging Study (BLAST) on a part-time basis. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Biological and Chemical sciences in 2023 from Northeastern University where he conducted research on child development and aggressive behaviors while working part time as a lifeguard with Northeastern Athletics. Randy has strong interests in clinical operations and data collection specializing in neurological disorders with the hope of attending medical school one day. In his free time, Randy enjoys strength training and cooking.


Nadeshka Ramírez Pérez, BA
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR I
Nadeshka earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2023 from the University of Puerto Rico–Río Piedras. As a proud Latina woman, she is passionate about addressing disparities in healthcare access and research representation within the Latino community. Her research interests focus on using neuroimaging and neuropsychological methods to study Alzheimer’s disease. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring art museums.

Natalia Londoño Sotomayor, MS
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Natalia is a psychologist trained at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience from Goldsmiths, University of London. Since joining the Neurosciences Group of Antioquia (GNA) in 2015, she has contributed as a neuropsychologist to various research projects focused on neurodegenerative diseases across the lifespan. She currently serves as a study coordinator within GNA’s Administrative Project Management Unit, supporting both observational studies and clinical trials. In her free time, Natalia enjoys reading, solving puzzles, traveling, and spending quality time with her family


Paula Ospina Lopera, MA
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Paula is a psychologist trained at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, where she also earned a master’s degree in Psychology and Mental Health. She later completed a second master’s in clinical neuropsychology at the International University of Valencia in Spain. Since 2011, she has been part of the Neurosciences Group of Antioquia (GNA), gaining extensive experience in research, neuropsychological assessment, and comprehensive care for individuals and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s. She currently leads the Rita-NGF Study, a project that brings together clinical care, research, and psychosocial support, with an emphasis on scientific communication and community involvement. Her background also includes university teaching and supervising professional internships, reflecting her strong interest in education, training, and mentorship. Outside of work, Paula enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, watching films, traveling, exploring the city on foot, and engaging in cultural and artistic events.
Yesica Zuluaga, MA
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Yesica is a psychologist who graduated from the University of Envigado and holds a master’s degree in Neuropsychology from the University of San Buenaventura. She has been part of the Neurosciences Group of Antioquia (GNA) since 2012, where she began as a psychology intern and later served as a COLCIENCIAS young researcher and neuropsychologist in various research projects. She currently leads observational studies and clinical trials as part of GNA’s Project Management Unit. Her career has allowed her to gain extensive experience in research, particularly in the study of neurodegenerative diseases.
In addition, she serves as a lecturer at both undergraduate and graduate levels, focusing on clinical practice and neuropsychological assessment, and demonstrating a strong interest in mentorship and the training of new professionals.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts, and exploring national and international cuisine.
